Apple has published the champs of the third annual Apple Music Awards, which acknowledge "the best artists of 2021 and their prominence on worldwide culture."
The awards ceremony credits accomplishments in music across five sections, with winners selected through a procedure that evaluates both Apple Music's editorial standpoint and what music lovers around the planet have been giving attention to most.
Canadian singer and songwriter, Abel Makkonen Tesfaye professionally known as The Weeknd earned the prize of “Global Artist Of The Year”.

American singer-songwriter, Olivia Rodrigo was been awarded as the “Breakthrough Artist Of the Year”.
The American singer-songwriter also bagged an additional two awards at the ceremony.
She also won “Album Of The Year” with her debut album ‘SOUR’ and “Single of the Year” with her ‘drivers license’ song.
American singer and songwriter, Gabriella Sarmiento Wilson, known professionally as H.E.R., won the “Songwriter of the Year” award with her R & B album, “Back of my Mind”.
This year, the Apple Music Awards also inaugurated a new category of awards for Regional Artist of the Year, comprehending artists from five countries and regions: Africa, France, Germany, Japan, and Russia.
The Regional Artist of the Year awards acknowledge artists who made an enormous influence culturally and on the charts in their respective countries and regions, Apple asserted.
Nigerian artist, Wizkid aka King of Afropop won the “Artiste of the Year(Africa)” award.
Aya Nakamura won the “Artist of the Year” in the France category.
