In the speech, Dr. Bawumia admonished graduates to venture into entrepreneurship and start out their own businesses as was recently said by the finance miniser, Hon. Ken Ofori Atta during a speech at the University of Professional Studies(UPSA).

According to Vice President, Bawumia, employment opportunities do exist in the public sector for graduates but he still advised graduates that developing their own businesses will help them build a stronger future for themselves and thus, reflect a sound future for the country through development.
He also mentioned that, grades and academic scores might not matter after school and that there is a greater gain from setting up one's business and employing people than to work under someone.
