Majority leader in Parliament, Hon. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu asserts the government's ruling to shut down toll booths is conclusive.

Communicating on Okay FM, he explained the monies accumulated from the numerous toll booths end up being used to service the same place.

Thereby, it makes the toll booths a very useless venture for the government to invest in. 

Reacting to comments from hawkers who ply their trade around the assorted toll booths in the country. 

The hawkers claim that they have renounced their source of livelihood as a result of the shutdown of toll booths in the country. 

Mr. Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu answered them back asserting the toll booths are not marketplaces. 

To him, it doesn't render sense for any hawker to grumble that they are unemployed because toll booths have been closed down.

Hon. Kyei insists toll booths were not built to operate as a marketplace for parkway hawkers. 

Solacing with them, he urged them to wield their trade elsewhere.
