Actress and Socialite Rosemond Brown, famously known as Akuapem Poloo has been flung back into prison after the court rejected her appeal to protest a 90days cell penalty.

As claimed by a Graphic Online report, the High Court in Accra has rejected a plea documented by Rosemond Alade Brown also known as Akuapem Poloo which attempted to protest the 90-day jail term given to her by the Accra Circuit Court on April 16 2021.

This implies that Akuapem Poloo will begin again fulfilling the jail period put on her by the Circuit court.

During a ruling today, the Criminal Division of the court controlled by Justice Ruby Aryeetey ratified the Circuit court judgment on reasons that the Circuit court’s verdict was not manifestly undue.
“This court will not impede and the plea is therefore not acceptable,” Justice Aryee proclaimed.

The court decreed that in the dearth of the culprit, Akuapem Poloo’s kid should be assigned to any capable individual in the family to take care of.
