Nigerian musician, Fireboy the “Peru” crooner has opened up on fame and how it can influence one's mind.
Communicating with Chude Jideonwo in an interview, he said, “Fame is like money, it’s like sex.
These three things can get to you. They can mess you up mentally. They can influence your thoughts and juggle you into doing things. You feel on top of the world and you just make blunders.
When you are popular, and you make missteps, you are making errors for everyone to recognize.

It’s distinct from when just a regular person makes an error and you can promptly rectify them. Some errors are very valuable and I don’t want to make an expensive error.
I am always very cautious, fame is very tricky. Fame is powerful, sometimes you feel Iike a god. You are chatting with a person and the person is even trembling.”
The Nigerian is also set to have a remix of his Peru song with pop singer, Ed Sheeran.
