The West African Examinations Council has just released a statement which informs candidates that their Wassce examination results are now available.
WAEC also noted candidates who sat for the 2021 examinations that the results released are provisional.
As per WAEC, a total of 446,353 candidates, made up of 221,439 (49.6%) males and 224,913 (50.4%) females from 965 senior high schools wrote the examination.
Per the Waec 2021 statistics, 54.08% of the candidates passed the English language subject. This saw a drop in students passed English language (57.34%) as compared to this year.
Also the percentage of candidates who passed Mathematics, Integrated Science and Social Studies were 54.11 %, 65.70 % and 66.03 % respectively.

The examination council also canceled 1,339 subject results and 174 candidates' entire results due to examination malpractice.
Waec also withheld the results of a total number of 3,667 candidates who sat for the exams.
