Ahmed is professionally known as Blakk Rasta and is best known for the song, “Barack Obama” sung in honor of the 44th USA President.
Blakk Rasta was then honored with a special dinner with President Obama on the 11th of July 2020.
Blakk is now in the news after making a tweet to singer Efya’s comment that, she doesn't know Blakk Rasta and neither has she heard of him before”.
Efya went on to say that Ghanaian musicians don't care about what Blakk Rasta says since he is a Journalist that says anything he wants.

Right after the interview GHOne with Efya went viral on all social media platforms, Blakk Rasta then came online to reply to Efya.
Blakk Rasta tweeted that on his Twitter page a few hours after Efya’s video went viral and had a lot of people reacting to it.
On his Twitter page, Blakk Rasta said, “Sad what drugs can do to a beautiful soul. Be delivered and healed in JESUS' name! “
