The Best Rap album category is now left with Kanye West's “Donda”, J. Cole's “The Off Season”, Nas’ King's Disease II, and “Call Me If You Get Lost” by Tyler the Creator.

Now the voting will just go on with just four nominees in each of the categories Drake just deserted.

It could be remembered that Drake voiced his disapproval for the Grammy Awards after The Weeknd was shut out of the nominations.

Drake said,” I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards.”

He went also to say, ”We should just accept that what was once the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after.”

He concluded by saying someone should begin his or her new awards show that can be built upon and passed unto generations to come.

Canadian rapper, Drake has been nominated 47 times by the Recording Academy for the Grammy Awards and he has only won four.
